Neopor element wall system
In building, this product is one of the most revolutionary innovations of the last decades. The Neopor element wall system is developed to construct ‘more-storey’ buildings, such as single houses, family houses, apartment buildings, commercial buildings and small office buildings.
The element is a prefabricated in- and outside layer element, made out of EPS or Neopor. The hollow element is 1 meter long and 25 cm high. Depending on the required insulation value, the outside layer is 5 or 15 cm thick. The inside layer is always 5 cm thick. The distance between the inside- and outside layer is 15 cm. The in- and outside layer are connected by so called ‘bridges’ made out of hard plastic.
The system is very user friendly. The stones are clicked in position in ‘half stone overlap’ by hand or rubber hammer. The weight of the stones is, depending on the lay-out, 1.6 for the 25 cm width element or 1.9 Kg for the 35 cm width element. The list of additional elements contains among others 90 and 45 degree corner stones, end pieces, lintels and height correctors in several dimensions. By using these additional elements, construction of corners and openings for windows and doors is easily done. While fitting the elements together, the required steel reinforcement bars are positioned easily in the already existing spaces in the connection bridges. One by one every storey of the hollow Neopor wall is filled by pouring in concrete by pump.
Any contractor, architect and/or developer will be impressed by the advantages of this building system. The speed in building directly leads to a reduction in labour costs. An example: The construction of the outside walls of one storey of a family home can be built by four experienced men within 1 week. This includes the pouring of concrete and of course the insulation is already in place.
The exploitation afterwards is positively influenced by the high insulation value of the system. The 250 stones (Neopor) have a U-Value of 0.25 (W/m) and The 350 stones (Neopor) have a U-Value of 0.14 (W/m)
On top of that, building is less dependant on good weather conditions and seasonal conditions.
