Sandwich roof panel system

Specifically for the Scandinavian market, NBAB offers a product called Sandwich Roof Panel or Sandwich Roof Element system. This fire shielding product, again shows high insulation values and is a ‘fast process’ product. The sandwich elements are positioned on a load bearing construction or used as a load bearing construction in itself.

The construction of the roof panel is made out of two shaving boards which, depending on the type, measure 4 to 12 mm. In between the board, timber beams and insulation panels are glued. The thickness of the element depends on the required insulation value and span. The finish of the under-, or visible side, is white.

Several types are available. Probably the most impressive panel is the one which comes prefabricated with roof tile timber and spaces for roof windows already in place. Even a complete roof, fitted with hinges on top, to fit double sided at once, is available. The panels are delivered in the dimensions following specifications from the client. 

NBAB can deliver elements up to a maximum span of 8 metres, width approximately 1 metre and roof slope of 15 to 45 degrees. Also panels for flat roof, grass roof, tile roof or other specifications, depending on requirement with or without damp foil, are available.
